Due to the sensitive nature of rescue work some of our horses are not listed on our website. Occasionally there are cases where photo ID will be requested in the beginning phases of adoption inquiries to ensure safe placement of our donkeys and mules.
Please note that we are not a foster based rescue and all of our animals are housed onsite at our beautiful farm in Howell, MI.

Meet Fred, the charming pony mule with a unique personality! Fred turns tasks into a game of "catch me if you can," making each interaction an adventure. His mischievous spirit adds a touch of excitement to your routine.
Overall Fred is an easy keeper and due to his founder risk, he requires grass free pasture management. With the correct setup for catching him, routine farrier visits and vet care become a breeze. Once on the lead line, he stands well for the farrier and vet.
As a pasture mate, Fred is easy going, making him an ideal companion for any equine friend. This cute little guy is still on a journey of trust-building, patiently waiting for a special family to come along. If you have experience, patience, and the right setup, Fred is ready to fill your days with laughter and companionship. Are you the family Fred has been waiting for?

Vixie... We wish we had more to say about this clever and shy girl. We have struggled getting to know her, as she would rather be with her horsey friends than spend time with us!
She is curious and polite when we have interacted and takes treats eagerly! She will even alow a lead rope to be attached to her halter and follow you for a few steps! However, when she is done with her training session, she is done and will quickly bolt in any direction she can!
With that said, she will need a highly skilled trainer and mule lover (if you know, you know...) to help her become the best equine citizen she can be! Stay tuned for Vixie updates, or please reach out if you are up for the challenge!
